Such as this couple from Nether land ,Mrs. Barendregt and Mr. Wiltschut ; With their bicycle through Far East Asia trip and to be part of our Tipa family on July 2011, with the first intended to stay one night but after the night passed they decided to stay longer.

On a bicycle through Thailand
Tourists in Krabi: that’s nothing unusual. But two cyclists from Holland is something special. Huub Wiltschut and his wife Wilma Barendregt visited Krabi on their bicycle trip through Thailand and Malaysia. They stayed a few nights in Krabi Tipa Resort and loved every minute of it.
‘This is our third journey through Thailand’, Huub says. ‘A few years ago we biked from Bangkok to Phuket, last year from Ubon Ratchathani to Bangkok. This year we combine two counties on our trip from Phuket to Penang. The total distance is about 800 km, every day we cycle about 50 to 80 km. When there is something interesting, we stop and have look around. There’s always something special and every day is full of surprises. It’s our favourite way of a holiday.’
Wilma says: ‘In Holland we bike almost every day, so it was a logic choice for us to make a bicycle trip. Thailand is a beautiful country with lovely landscapes, impressing mountains and most of all: very friendly and openminded people. We love to be here and Krabi Tipa Resort is a very good stop for a few days.’
It was a pity for the tourist there it was raining a lot during their three days stay in Krabi. But: ‘in Holland we’re used to rain,’ Huub laughed. ‘It’s a good reason to return to Krabi someday and see some more of this vivid city and its surroundings.’
Wilma and Huub were very pleased by the personal touch, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere in Krabi Tipa Resort. They would love to stay some more days, but they had to go on and on and on their trip. It’s a long way to Penang…
